Registrations Open
- Registration End Date: Sunday, 23rd March 2025
- Test Date: Saturday, 15th March 2025 onwards
- Eligible Degrees: Candidates pursuing or holding degrees in:
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)
- Master of Technology (M.Tech) / Master of Engineering (M.E)
- Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A)
- Master of Science (M.Sc/M.S) and equivalent
- Test Structure Overview: The NQT has two key sections of assessment:
- Foundation Section : Numerical, Verbal, and Reasoning Ability.
- Advanced Section: Advanced Quantitative ability & Advanced Coding.
- Hiring Streams: Based on performance at NQT, candidates will be considered for interviews under the following streams:
- Prime Stream: For the candidates with high proficiency & potential in all subjects. 🌟
- Digital Stream: Roles in the digital technology and innovation. 💻
- Ninja Stream: Foundation Entry point to the IT field. 🥷
- CTC Packages: Salary structure offered is based on the hiring stream and qualification candidate has:
- Prime Stream:
- Undergraduate (UG) – Rs 9.0 Lakhs Per Annum (LPA)
- Postgraduate (PG) – Rs 11.5 LPA
- Digital Stream Offers:
- UG – Rs 7.0 LPA
- PG – Rs 7.3 LPA

Eligibility Criteria of the TCS NQT 2025
The TCS NQT 2025 is for students who will be graduating in 2025. If your graduation will be completed by 2025 with one of the aforementioned degrees (B.Tech, B.E, M.Tech, M.E, MCA, M.Sc/M.S, or equivalent), you are eligible to apply. Application Process:
Step 1. Log in to the TCS NextStep Portal Opens in new tab
Step 2. Register and Apply for the Drive
- Scenario A: If you are already a registered user under TCS NextStep Portal, ‘IT’ category, kindly log in with your TCS Reference ID (CT/DT reference number) and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’
- Scenario B: If you are a new user, kindly click on ‘Register Now’, choose category as ‘IT’ and proceed to fill in your details. Submit your application form and click on ‘Apply For Drive’
Step 3. Select your mode of test (In-center) and choose your 3 preferred test centers & then click on ‘Apply’.
Step 4. To confirm your status, check ‘Track Your Application’. The status should reflect as “Applied for Drive”.
